Show sections or embedded Tipos in a Tab

Show certain sections(field groups) of the same Tipo or an embedded Tipo in a Tab to better manage screen realestate.

 

 

The following displays how Staff tipo fields Home Address and Work Location are shown if added as normal 

But, you prefer that the display was more like the following with tabs:

Problem

How to show the Home Address and Work Location embedded tipo data in a tab instead of showing inline.

Solution

Both embedded tipos and field groups operate in exactly same way, it just that the type for a embedded tipo will be another tipo and for field group it will be a field group. So, you can apply this solution in both the cases.

It is very simple to achieve this result. It is matter of simply setting the Show in Tabunder the Display Settings to true for the required fields. In the case of Staff tipo, lets edit and access Home Address field and expand to reach Display Settings and change as below:

And for demonstration purposes, I have added two more field groups and set the setting Show in Tab to true. Repeat this process for Work Location  as well and the result will be as shown above with two separate tabs for Home Address and Work Location .
